BIOGRAPHY:
Ms. Smith graduated from Barnard College in 1990 and obtained her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1995. She joined Smith Mullin in 1999, left briefly in 2001, and returned in 2004. Between 2001 and 2004, she continued her work within the employment law field at the firms Reitman & Parsonnet and Zazzall, Fagella, Nowak, Kleinbaum & Friedman. During her tenure at Smith Mullin, Ms. Smith has helped find the firm significant success. This has included sitting co-chair in Caggiano v. Fontoura and D’onofrio v. DiFrancesco, Bateman, et al., and performing extensive pretrial work in the matters of Blue v. Hanover Direct, Donelson v. DuPont Chambers Works, deVries v. Secaucus, and Shouldis v. Teaneck, all of which resulted in substantial jury verdicts.

Ms. Smith remains engaged with programs both within and outside of the legal community. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as the Women’s Bar Association for the State of New York. She is also the leader of the Film/Theatre Group of the Cornell Campus Club in her hometown of Ithaca, New York.

Ms. Smith is admitted to the New Jersey (1995) and New York State Bar Associations (1998).
